About Liaison

Liaison is an AI infrastructure and data company. Our platform connects to the systems a business already runs on, builds a unified view of its operations, and deploys agents that act on that context the way the owner would, bringing forward only the decisions that require a person. Our work spans agent engineering, model training outputs for small language models (SLMs), and frontier-level research, and we build our agent runtime and integrations in-house.

What month 12 looks like

The core surfaces of the product have been redesigned from what you learned talking to customers and watching them use it. There is a standing research habit on the team, and design decisions point back to evidence rather than opinion.

What you will do (about half design, half research)

• Design and ship product interfaces end to end, from flow to finished screens
• Interview customers and watch how they use Liaison
• Turn what you learn into changes the engineers can build
• Study how people approve, edit and reject what the agent proposes, and design around it
• Run small experiments and read the results
• Build and maintain the design system

Required

• Has shipped a web product that real users use, with work to show
• Has run customer interviews or usability studies and can describe what changed because of them
• Has worked directly with engineers on implementation
• Fluent in Figma or an equivalent design tool

Preferred

• Experience designing for AI agents or automated workflows
• Background in behavioral research or psychology
• Has worked at an early-stage company
