Liaison Notetaker: notice to meeting participants

If you are reading this, a Liaison user invited an AI meeting assistant to a meeting you are in, or told you they are recording with Liaison. This page explains what that means for you.

Who is recording. The workspace that turned the Notetaker on (the meeting host's company) is recording the meeting. Liaison Intelligence, LLC provides the recording and transcription service to that workspace and processes the recording on its behalf.

What is collected. Audio of the meeting, a written transcript with speaker names as shown in the meeting, and a summary with decisions and action items. If the meeting platform shows your name, it appears in the transcript.

What it is used for. To give the host's workspace a transcript, summary and action items, and to let that workspace search and ask questions about its own meetings. It is not used to train AI models that serve anyone else. Liaison does not keep a voiceprint of you.

Who else sees it. The host's workspace. The service providers Liaison uses to run the recording and transcription, listed at https://www.useliaison.com/subprocessors, who may not use it for any other purpose.

How long it is kept. Audio is deleted within 24 hours of transcription. The transcript and summary are kept by the host's workspace for the period it sets, two years by default, or until deleted.

How to stop it. Type "/liaison stop" in the meeting chat, or ask the host to stop the recording.

Your choices. You may ask for your words to be removed from a transcript. Email support@useliaison.com with "Participant request", the date of the meeting and the host's name. We will confirm with the host, remove or redact what you said from the transcript and anything derived from it, and reply within 30 days.
